Glass House Grown, a family-owned cannabis brand in Oregon, approached Calyx for a complete packaging makeover, aiming to create vibrant and engaging designs that reflect their Dutch heritage, with a retro twist. The goal was to integrate these elements seamlessly into their visual identity while differentiating themselves in the competitive, diverse, Oregon market.
I had the pleasure of executing this vision through a custom pattern, a refreshed color palette, and carefully selected typefaces. The new lineup features fresh print effects, including specialty fluorescent inks and spot UV, which draw attention to the custom graphics and enhance the brand's storytelling and playful persona.
This project not only revitalized their packaging but also reinforced their position in the market with a bright and distinctive design. Glass House now has an extensive brand toolkit that expands their overall visual language.
